When You Should See a Doctor for Back & Neck Pain
As back and neck pain is highly common and usually not dangerous, people tend to downplay their symptoms or delay seeking medical attention.

However, this is not recommended as you may miss an underlying, more serious condition which may worsen, further increasing the pain and making it harder to treat.

Here are some warning signs that you should see a spine doctor ASAP:
  • The pain persists after a few weeks in spite of ample rest
  • The pain was caused by a traumatic injury like a fall or blunt force
  • You feel shooting pain running down your arms or legs
  • You feel numbness, weakness or tingly sensations in your arms or legs
  • You feel pain even at rest, or it worsens at night
  • You experience fever and unexplained weight loss along with your pain
  • You start facing difficulty controlling your bowel or bladder movements
These Could Be Signs of Nerve or Spinal Cord Problems, Infection, Tumour, Fractures or Other Underlying Conditions.
Atlas Orthopaedic Clinic is Equipped to Identify and Treat all Back and Neck Conditions
